Trade in your gumboots for designers

WINTER is upon us and with that season comes the rain, mud, slush - whether in your own backyard or out in the fields or forest.

Keeping feet dry is often a problem but not with Mandrakes Gumboots.

At Snowy Mountain Rug Co out on Mt Buller Road, Helena Simpkin has the answer.

“I am offering those who need new gumboots a ‘trade in deal’,” she said.

“Bring in your old, worn out gumboots and get $5 off the price of your new Mandrakes.”

Designer gumboots are all the go at present and Mandrakes come in three varieties – leaf, fireworks or camouflage patterns and sizes to suit all adults.

“All people need to do is bring in their old gumboots and choose their new designer ones,” Ms Simpkin said.

And for the kids Snowy Mountain Rugs have a range of wool lined gumboots – again in great colors starting from just $9.95.

But of course Snowy Mountain Rugs have more than just gumboots – there is a whole range of outdoor camping equipment including cosy sleeping bags and Australian made swags – just right for going camping whether in your own backyard or in the bush.

At Snowy Mountain Rugs you are welcome to drop in, get warm by the log heater, browse the wonderful display of outdoor equipment and clothing, and chat with Ms Simpkin about your needs.

Just because winter is setting in doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the pleasures of fishing, hunting and camping or caravanning – so a huge range of caravan heaters, camp fire tools, pots and barbecues are also on display at Snowy Mountain Rug Company – Mt Buller Road ( just past the BP servo).
