Austria Kitzbühel

Kitzbühel is celebrated globally for its historical heart, breath taking scenery and sophisticated fusion of dining and après-skiing. The enchanting medieval town has a mix of accommodation possibilities and a bountiful array of boutique shops. But it might be most famous for the legendary Hahnenkamm Streif racecourse and the annual Men’s downhill competition. The resort has 57 state-of-the-art lifts and gondola’s to allow exploration of more than 175 kilometres of trails. The ski area is divided into 3 interlinked zones including the Kitbuheler Horn, the bigger Hahnenkamm and Bichalm which is favoured by freeriders and has snowcat operation. Newbies and novice can build confidence in the safe harbour of the beginners’ area at the base of the mountain. This space has purpose built practice lifts and is free to use without a lift ticket.

Another of Kitzbühels’ bucket-list pursuits is the Ski Safari. This 35 kilometre route is a marked trail that leads snow adventurers around the entire area -A full day of snow bliss! Amongst the exquisite mountains there are 60 huts and mountain restaurants to rest-up and re-fuel. As far as quintessential Austrian snow holidays go, Kitzbühel will eclipse all expectations.
