Bright future for Rich Glen

SUNDAY, December 8, 2024 marked a momentous day for Rich Glen Olive Oil as Ros Vodusek, owner and creative director, unveiled not one but two stunning new stores in Bright.

This expansion celebrates more than 25 years of passion, dedication and authenticity that have gained Rich Glen Olive Oil a reputation as a household name as a purveyor of delectable pantry and skincare staples.

“When the opportunity presented itself in Bright, our family felt it was such a natural fit for the brand,” shared CEO Jack Vodusek.

“We’ve always loved Bright, it’s a bustling tourist destination that champions their local offerings.

"There’s an essence of nostalgia also, with similarities in the landscape to our Slovenian heritage.

"We love the warmth of the locals, and creativity of businesses in the region... it’s a perfect fit for the expansion of our business.”

The new stores are more than just retail spaces; they’re a vibrant testament to the Vodusek family’s unwavering commitment to their craft and to the communities they cherish.

From its humble beginnings as a family-run olive oil business, Rich Glen has flourished, producing more than 180,000 litres of premium extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) annually on their farm in Yarrawonga, nestled on the banks of the Murray River.

Their unique farm-to-bottle philosophy ensures every drop of oil is grown, harvested, pressed and bottled on-site before being transformed into over 190 products, from gourmet foods to luxurious skincare.

A story of resilience and growth, the journey hasn’t always been smooth.

When COVID-19 aided in the closure of their beloved Farm-Gate Store and Cafe, on their property 9kms west of Yarrawonga, the Vodusek's took a bold leap of faith.

They opened a shopfront in Yarrawonga, ramped up online sales, and relied on the strength of their community.

The results were nothing short of remarkable: production nearly doubled, and their high-quality products continue to gain popularity across Australia and beyond, even reaching markets in Singapore.

An immersive experience awaits as Rich Glen stores offer more than just shopping - they’re a sensory journey that focuses on quality, Australian-made and and exceptional customer experience.

The stunning new locations in Bright, alongside existing stores in Yarrawonga and Echuca (circa 2023), are curated to showcase their signature EVOOs, savoury dressings,

gourmet essentials, natural skincare, wellness and home additions.

Each store also features collaborations with beloved Australian brands like Runway Room, Eleven, and Eye of Horus, and most recently, locally famed Ellidy Pullin, alongside regional gourmet delights, reflecting Ros Vodusek’s passion for supporting Australian craftsmanship.

Located centrally on Bright’s bustling Gavan Street, directly opposite the Bright Brewery, the new store is a hub of luxurious aromas, vibrant displays and exceptional products.

The Voduseks’ mission is to bring a touch of everyday luxury to locals and tourists alike while championing sustainability and regional producers.

Open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm (weekends 10am-3pm) each location warmly invites visitors to immerse themselves in the Rich Glen experience.
