A little boys dream come true

THE "Make-A-Wish® Australia” creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

The Foundation has made unicorns fly, sent kids to the moon and together with our #WishForce, and are on a mission to grant a wish for every eligible child with a life threatening illness.

Recently the Foundation funded a wish for James Frajer who had his wish come true with a family holiday to Mt Buller.

“We all had an amazing time; the whole experience was well managed which enabled the best possible holiday for our family and more specifically James,” said James’ mother.

“As we were returning from our holiday one of the boys remarked it was the best holiday they had ever experienced and James at the top of his voice with his usual cheeky smile said, “Yes and it’s all thanks to me!” “I think underlines just how much of a positive impact it had on all of us,” she said.

“I would like to reiterate our deepest gratitude to the Make a Wish organisation and to some of the partners that assisted in ensuring the this was a once in a lifetime experience, specifically: Rob and the team at Georges Ski Hire; Tony (Harrington) for the photographs and Allan at Snow Gum Xpress; also the accommodation at Alto.

“We feel that we must highlight the significantly important role Make a Wish plays in helping families and children who have experienced significant and life threatening health issues in finding a positive and uplifting experience,” said Tori Kirby coordinator of the event for the Foundation.

“To anyone who is considering partnering or donating to make a wish, we would say ‘you will not begin to understand the positive difference your contribution will make to those families who are doing it tough, struggling to deal with some of the scariest and most confronting issues that a family could experience’,” she said.

“Thank you once again for making this life-changing experience a possibility for James and his family – we are deeply grateful,” the Frajer family said.
