CHANNEL 7 weather forecaster Jane Bunn will be broadcasting live for the weather updates this coming Monday, June 13 of the Queen's Birthday weekend.

She's thrilled to be back up at Buller after the interruptions of the past two seasons.

Jane was on her way to the mountain last August when the lockdown was called and had to turn around.

It was after her first snow trip with her husband Jane developed a fascination with snow and drove her to complete her qualification in meteorology and take the career path she's now on.

She has a particular interest in specific applications of forecasting for farmers and for us here in the snow.

Jane's Weather is a new app which she has been developing as a forecasting tool and has subscribers who value the additional detail and specifics she goes into in her modelling which is invaluable for farmers and people needing tailored forecasts.
