Lake Louise

Lake Louise has one of the most idyllic settings of all ski resorts with spectacular views over the Victoria Glacier, lakes and the Canadian Rockies. 60 kilometres from Banff it’s also one of the largest North American resorts with more than 4200 acres of snow riding terrain. Smooth runs over stellar powder gives everyone from first timers to seasoned pros full days of epic skiing and boarding. A prime feature of Lake Louise is the layout of the slopes. It’s designed so that there’s at least one run that’s achievable off each lift for novice, intermediate and advanced riders meaning mixed abilities and families can explore the resort together.

The terrain is spread over three connected sections on the slopes of Mt Whitehorn, Saddleback and the picturesque Larch area. Over two-thirds of Lake Louise is forested and there’s more than 100 corduroy runs and in-bounds ungroomed turf to excite everyone. The off-piste terrain, especially in the Back-side Power Bowls is irresistible for accomplished riders particularly after fresh snowfalls. Juniper Jungle terrain park features boxes, rails, jumps, hips, spines, logs and a wall ride – A Park Rats paradise.

Mellow out in the evening with dinner and drinks in the Village or have a rejuvenating spa after some retail therapy. Lake Louise Resort has a sparkle like no other.
