BACKWOODS Distilling Co's distillery door in Yackandandah has just celebrated its two year anniversary.

To mark the occasion they held their first music and food event for the year with Little Wise providing the live tunes and Woodfire Desire serving up their delicious wood fired pizzas.

The Backwoods bar was busy mixing up a refreshing selection of gin and whisky cocktails, and for the craft beer lovers, there was the 'Beersky' which is an amber ale brewed especially for Backwoods by the team at Bright Brewery.

The next event at Backwoods will be Sunday, March 12 and you won't want to miss it so put it in your calendar now.

Local favourite, Benny Williams will be playing from 1pm to 3pm and Piementos Paella will be providing the food.

Bookings are recommended for seats in the tasting room however there will be tables outside and bar space available for walk–ins.

If you can't make it to the event on March 12, you can still grab your crew and book in to taste their range of whisky and gin.
