Vail Resorts unveils new Epic Australia 4-Day Pass for 2025 winter season

VAIL Resorts has launched a new four-day season pass to access its three Australian resorts of Falls Creek, Mt Hotham and Perisher next snow season.

The Epic Australia 4-Day Pass, which provides up to 40 per cent savings compared to lift ticket pricing, aims to help make skiing and riding more accessible.

For $138 per day, the Epic Australia 4-Day Pass provides four days combined lift access that can be used non-consecutively any day of the season across Falls Creek, Hotham and Perisher beginning winter 2025.

Vail Resorts senior vice president and chief operating officer, Jody Churich, said lift tickets are no longer the only option for the occasional skier and rider.

“When Vail Resorts launched the Epic Australia Pass 10 years ago in 2015, it unlocked unlimited access to Australia’s best resorts, plus access to premier ski destinations around the world, at an incredible value," she said.

"And now, we are excited to bring that value to our guests who only want to ski and ride four days next season at Falls Creek, Hotham and Perisher.

"We are fully committed to growing the sports of skiing and snowboarding and look forward to welcoming pass holders to our Australian resorts next winter.”

All 2025 passes are now on sale, including Australia’s best-value season-long pass, the Epic Australia Pass, which includes access to local and premier resorts worldwide.

The passes, which are non-refundable, offer significant savings to guests in exchange for their loyalty and pre-season commitment ahead of the 2025 snow season.

Mt Hotham Chamber of Commerce president Steve Belli and Falls Creek Chamber of Commerce president Michelle Lovell have both welcomed the new four-day season pass as a "positive addition" for their mountain resorts.

"Anything that makes skiing more affordable is welcome, and this pass is also a good option for snowplay visitors to convert into skiers and boarders," Mr Belli said.

"We are seeing a huge influx of sightseers and snowplay visitors to our resort...the first timers CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) patronage is growing and this is a good option to help introduce them into skiing and boarding."

Ms Lovell agreed, saying "it opens an opportunity for people and is amazing value, and is a great addition for overnight stays on the mountain".
