Pedal power will be in full swing this coming Saturday when the Snowy Mountains BMX Club host their first race meeting at the Jindabyne Sport and Recreation track.
Local and invited riders will be vying for the first victory honours on the relatively new Snowy Mountains BMX Club track on Saturday 20th May (rescheduled date).
The track was launched in April 2021, and recently they have upgraded the track with works by BIKE Track Australia. New drainage, a re-surfaced track and berms sealed with asphalt will enable the club to use the track in all seasons.
The club have been running practice sessions in recent weeks in anticipation of the first race event which will see a host of riders visiting for the races.
Spectators looking to view the action can access the track by parking at the Snow Australia sports centre, and then walking up the hill to the track.
