CHICKS WITH STIX: 18 AUGUST – 19 AUGUST

Chicks with Stix is a grass–roots organisation that was founded in 2010 in Australia by a bunch of like–minded, passionate snow loving chicks.

Its aim is to provide a fun and supportive environment for women who ski and snowboard. Chicks with Stix run FREE ski and snowboarding sessions throughout the Victorian and NSW Alps in Australia for women. Sessions give you a great supportive and social environment to rip around the mountain. We offer women a chance to ski and board with the best female snow–sports athletes in Australia with the aim to have fun and help participants to improve their skills across the mountain including in the park, freeride, slopestyle and big mountain. thechickswithstix.com.

TWILIGHT SESSIONS WITH CHANNEL 7: 19 AUGUST

There's one thing we like more than a twilight session is a FREE twilight session!

Hit the slopes for a free Twilight Session on Friday, August 19 as Meteorologist and Channel 7 Weather Presenter Jane Bunn reports live.

Twilight Sessions run on Wednesdays and Saturdays up to August 27.

You can ski, board or take a lesson on Bourke St ski run all under lights until 8.30pm.

FREE BOM: 20 AUGUST

Free your animal spirit at the 9th annual FreeBOM, where Mt Buller's ski community get together on Wood Run to ski moguls, dance to music and aprèski. Possibly the most fun you will ever have on skis. Everyone is welcome to watch and everyone is encouraged to enter. Skiers will be judged on their skiing fluidity, energy, line choice and control. Prizes will be awarded to all ages and genders based on skiing, dressing, airing, falling and FreeBOMing.

The best Australian freestylers tackle the bumps at Mt Buller in a legendary event.

The ABOM Mogul Challenge sees our Winter Olympic hopefuls smash it out down the legendary 'Club Chamois' bumps course.

Don't miss all the action from Australia's potential Olympic medallists!

The event's history dates back to late 80's and this iconic, colourful mogul competition is now one of the longest running race events in the world attracting the world's best skiers from across the globe.

RETRO WEEKEND: 10 & 11 SEPTEMBER

Get yourselves a RAD outfit sorted and trip back through two of the best decades the 80s' and 90s'.

POND SKIM National Championships: 17 & 18 September

It's all about crazy costumes, silly stunts and a giant outdoor pool party on Bourke St to celebrate Buller at it's best – in spring!

Despite being recognised as the National Championships, you don't actually need to follow an athlete pathway from your local pond skimming club, through the state league, to reach national glory. Just give it a crack. Do it – and win MEGA PRIZES.

KISD'S WEEK – September: 19 September – 23 September

All week long we're celebrating Mt Buller's smallest guests with special, child friendly activities on offer each day. Mt Buller mascots Blake the Flake and Barry the Pygmy Possum will be out and about so make sure if you find them to say g'day. Activities include colouring in competitions, balloon twisting, snowman building and much more. Full schedule to be confirmed.

GRAND FINAL STREET PARTY: 24 September

Mt Buller will be hosting a Grand Final Street Party Saturday, September 24 so pick a side and head up the hill for an afternoon of fun in the Village Square. The afternoon will be jam packed with fun activities for the kids, free marshmallow toasting over the village fire pits, and of course a big screen to watch the game!
