THERE were a number of festive activities held across Christmas week on Mount Buller which ran from August 4th to August 10th.
On the 4th Santa Claus roamed the Village Square and on the 6th there was a snowman making competition with prizes.
On the 8th and the 10th Mansfield singer Holly Golz entertained visitors and staff at Mount Buller’s Village Square.
She sang a variety of Christmas Carols including a Buller rendition of the 12 days of Christmas written by the National Alpine Museum of Australia secretary Ms Wendy Magee.
“I only started singing a few years ago,” Holly said.
“My Cousin is an opera singer and she started her own company and then I started doing lessons with her.
"That was when I realised I can sing."
Growing up in Melbourne, Holly performed at a few school musicals.
“I’ve been coming to Mount Buller since I was a baby,” she said.
“For Christmas week they needed a singer, and I work up at Buller, so I thought I would put my hand up.”
