Canadian Resorts Join Epic Australia Pass

The snow landscape just became more interesting for Epic Australia Pass holders with the news today that you now have access to resorts of the Canadian Rockies in Fernie, Kicking Horse and Kimberley in British Columbia, plus Nakiska in Alberta, and Mont-Saitn Anne and Stonham in Quebec.

Keen skiers and snowboarders should be salivating hearing the news for Fernie and Kicking Horse, as these are two big players when it comes to terrain and snowfall.

Fernie

Fernie is legendary for its deep snow days. The five famous bowls of Currie, Timber, Siberia, Lizard and Cedar Bowl offer a plethora of powder terrain and at Fernie there are no friends here on a powder day, with locals showing an insatiable appetite to lap as many times as possible and feast on the legendary powder. The terrain offers something for everyone, with long cruising intermediate runs, plus a wealth of off piste terrain and tree runs. The town of Fernie is a short drive away, or you can stay on the mountain.

Kicking Horse

Located on the Powder Highway, if leg burning vertical and champagne powder is on the wish list, then Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in the heart of the Canadian Rockies is where it’s at. There’s bountiful terrain for every level of skier and boarder across 5 alpine bowls and more than 120 runs. This resort has reputation for its gnarly black diamond runs, and hard core junkies will revel in the steep chutes and the 1315 metres of vertical drop. The back country terrain is a playground for riders who want to explore beyond the margins.

Kimberley Resort

Perfect Purcell powder and an abundance of sunny days come together to make Kimberley Alpine Resort the top pick for your next ski vacation! With a huge variety of ski in/ski out accommodations and family activities (including the family skating rink, night skiing, events and kids après activities) as well as race event nights and live music in the Stemwinder for the parents.

To take advantage of all these resorts, plus all other top rated Vail Resorts, you can purchase the Epic Australia Pass for this winter in Australia, which allows for access in the 2023/24 northern winter. The Australian resorts on the pass are Perisher, Hotham and Falls Creek.

The Epic Australia Pass will have its next price increase on April 19. The pass usually goes off sale on the June long weekend.
